Julien Codorniou is joining London-based VC firm 20VC as a general partner, after a long tenure at Felix Capital. Codorniou, who was a founding advisor at Felix Capital since 2015 and a partner from 2021, will focus on early-stage investments at 20VC. His move comes shortly after 20VC raised its third fund, securing $400 million, with $125 million dedicated to seed investments.
20VC, launched in 2020 by Harry Stebbings, originally aimed to make smaller investments alongside larger backers. However, the firm has since expanded, raising a $140 million fund in 2021 and continuing to grow. Its latest $400 million fund includes $275 million allocated for Series A rounds, signaling the firm’s increasing influence in the VC space.
Codorniou’s background includes leading investment rounds in companies like Pigment, Omada, TechWolf, and gaming company Agave, and he will keep his board seats and remain a limited partner at Felix Capital. Prior to his VC career, he spent over a decade at Microsoft and Meta (Facebook), where he led Workplace, the company’s communication platform for businesses.
